I received my YRYM HT barbecue grill mats! They are the perfect size for my grill grates. I grilled some asparagus and some skirt steak. Not only were there grill marks, but for the first time everything cooked perfectly without scorching. The meat and the veg had tons of flavor! Best purchase for my grill!! Love the YRYM HT non stick grill mat! Great price too! And clean-up was super easy with soap and water! Great for camping as an alternate to packing a heavy, bulky cast iron skillet. But now find we don't pull that heavy antique out for home BBQing either. We go right for the Grill Mat. Make bacon, and eggs on the BBQ instead of heating up the house on those summer days. I liked that this non stick grill mat could be trimmed it down to fit any size grill.
First use: cooked vegetables on one side of grill on the Non Stick Grill Mat, with steak on direct heat on the grill on the other. Veggies were great! Evenly cooked, with grill marks, but without burning. Grill mat wiped clean and then went through dishwasher cycle to sterilize. I look forward to future use, with an increasing variety of foods. I expect tasty results. Had some reservations about how well this would work. After the first use I was quite surprised. The non stick grill mat mat worked perfectly. No flare ups yet nice coloring on my tri-tip. Can't wait to use it again. Clean up was a breeze.
I had control over how soon to turn the steaks and end up with a juicier end result with Barbecue Grill Mats. Easy cleaning. I feel more confident to try things on the grill that I have stayed away from, ie. veggies, fruits, fish, etc. Since more time has elapsed, I now make sure there is adequate oil, fat, etc on either the surface of the food or I lightly coat the surface of the Barbecue grill mats to ensure the food doesn't stick. I still really love them. I bought a set of these barbecue grill mats and they were fantastic. Be sure you follow the instructions , and not heat over 600 . I left mine on the bbq after I was finished bbqing and closed the lid . About two hours later , went out to cook some stuff and found them burned completely through. Now I must buy some more non stick grill mats. My Bad.... Jim Evans,
We d were happy to see that they're much sturdier and stronger than the previous set we tried - Miracle Barbecue Grill Mat - which burned the first time we used them and made a hole in the mat. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because we've only used them once so far and I like to have more experience with a product before giving a perfect score. They cooked steaks and burgers perfectly and cleaned up MUCH better and easier than the other brand. So far I'm extremely happy with them!! Used to dread barbequing but now I can't wait till next time! This is a great product if your grill racks are in need of replacement. It's easy to clean and cooks the food well. My only negative comment is that I can't seem to get it to make the "grill marks" even when I adjust the temperature.
