why use kraft butcher paper to wrap a brisket

First using kraft butcher paper to wrap a brisket I was smoking. I had to use two sheets, which was expected because of the size of the brisket. The result was terrific! The paper helped preserve the meat’s bark and the meat was tender and juicy. This is great bbq paper and works well for your smoked meats. It holds up really well and does not tear even when soaking wet with succulent juices. While it is a cheaper alternative to foil, foil will help keep in heat a lot more. It's perfect for using a cover to your trays to keep them clean while patting out your burgers or seasoning your chicken. Also works well as a shooting target paper in a pinch! I would highly recommend this product if you want a versatile butcher paper for your kitchen. I’m totally impressed with this product, I got to test it out several days ago on my new WSM and wow! The ribs were a amazingly tender using the 3-2-1 smoking method. Think I’ll cut back a bit on the 1 so they don’t completely fall off the bone:)

This is first time using this kraft butcher paper. It’s great quality and easy to use. I will more order for my store.  Works great for wrapping brisket...keeps it moist and yet allows you to develop that nice bark and it is great for cooking salmon on my traeger grill. I've used this butcher paper for various things, as long as you don't get tunnel vision and limit yourself to one purpose for this paper you'll have a much better time. I've wrapped meats and threw them back in the smoker, I've used it as a counter cover and liner and it works pretty good for just about anything you can think of. 4 Stars for ease of use as I wish it came in a box with a nice little paper slicer just like foil and plastic wrap have.

I Used for smoked brisket and works great- as expected. First time I used butcher paper for smoking meat (brisket, pork shoulder) and it's made the best tasting, moist meat ever. I smoke it first open and then transfer to the paper to finish until it hits the optimal temp. I used it to wrap a whole brisket and the paper held up perfectly, no rips, holes or leaks due to the moisture. I'll buy this again. Next time I will buy the wider paper, was a little hard to wrap both brisket and boston butt I smoked. It works! I was a bit skeptical at first because I’ve always wrapped brisket etc with foil to get past the stall but this paper works! I think it works better than foil because it keeps more of the juices in. I’ve used it to smoke a pork shoulder and a brisket and I love it. Truthfully, my second time to use my smoker and I turned out a delicious smoked pork butt that served up a lot of barbecue sandwiches. I could not have done that without this butcher wrap. It held in the juices and made the meat tender and delicious! I'm looking forward to many more good meals slow smoked in pink butcher paper! Thanks!

Wrapped a brisket in the Pink Butcher Kraft Paper and smoked it. Wow! Most flavorful and juiciest one I’ve smoked so far. Good quality paper and worth the money. Great product only downside is you need to double wrap fatty meats in order to keep the moisture from soaking through while smoking or cooking. Works great for refrigerating fresh meats/fish as long as you dry off excess moisture before placing in refrigerator. BBQ stayed moist without burning while wrapped and smoking for an additional 2 hours/.
